Sibylion is a Trance and Progressive music project created in 2021 by Giuseppe Giuffrida, an Italian dj/producer born in 1989 nearby to Mount Etna in Sicily. Since the 90s golden age, he was preferring vinyls and cassettes to cartoons and very soon, he had the chance discover the magic melodies of Progressive and Dream music during the Italian boom for these genres (1996/1997). Marino Stephano, Robert Miles, Nu-NRG are just three of the names that inspired his musical youth and thanks also to the Italian radio station "Radio Italia Network" and its radio shows from Tony H and Lady Helena, he soon fell in love with Trance music. The first steps of Sibylion project have been focused on his radio show, named From Soul To Stave, expressing the pure concept of Trance music: feelings that come from soul and fill an empty stave with countless harmonies. Illogic radio is pleased to host this radioshow on a by-weekly schedule on Suday at 4pm CET/CEST. I start my career as DJ in ’92 in a local Fm radio of my hometown, where I also played in some clubs. But because of the few opportunities offered by my town, I moved to Naples to try my chance and everything changed. I have been resident in the best club in the south of Italy, producer for important labels such as Flying Record, releasing trackson Cafe del Mar and Bacardi compilations, and lots of remixes for top artists as Gloria Estefan, Richie Havens, IIO,Snap and more.....I've been dj guest for networks such as Kiss Kiss and Radio Ibiza, winning numerous dj competitions.Than I moved again to work at Radio Selene and other networks as Tam Tam and Radio Company. During these years I have worked for many electro bands both as a composer and as a member, and finally in 2006 my first own track “Welcome to Hell” and my first solo album “ElectroDream” came out.I have composed soundtracks for short films and films,collaborating with Italian and foreign director, following common passions, becoming one of the most active producer in Italy. In 2011 I brought out another album: “AUtomat”and lots of tracks as “Toxic” “ Who you are” “YouCan Do It” “Come Out” which reached excellent positions inthe European dj charts. At present I’m published by several labels such as Linda Record, Only T he Best Record, Smilax,Soundrise Record, Italian Way Music, Emi, Carlo Cavallimusic group . Support for his work has come from the biggest names in trance, from Armin van Buuren to Markus Schulz, with his fiery productions finding their way onto compilations by Ministry Of Sound, Armada and Sony to name a few. The next major single which was released through How Trance Works Records was Rene’s carefully crafted vocal collab with Amy Kirkpatrick entitled ‘’Falling In Your Arms’’ which picked up international support from right across the trance spectrum and begun to show the trance community at large that here was a man on a mission to conquer and this man would be utterly unrelenting in his quest to become a major player. However the releases didn’t stop there, because to follow was the three way collab between himself Ian Buff and vocalist/songwriter - Diana Leah on the simply sensational record ‘’Ill Find My Way’’ which managed rave reviews globally This release was proceeded by a slew of additional releases on his very own Redux Recordings in order to bolster his release schedule. After a short period of reflection Rene and with one eye clearly on the future he swiftly decided that he would pursue a more vigorous goal of becoming a bit more exclusive as an artist in terms of how and where he would choose to develop his steadily emerging sound and so the decision was taken in 2016 that his future records would be solely represented by Sied Van Riel’s very own dutch Rielism Records and the UK’s Enhanced Records on Daniel Kandi’s imprint ‘’Always Alive’’. As a result of team Ablaze’s decision to focus on two key label supporters Rene begun to take off after releasing the likes of ‘’Departure’’ with his collaborative partner F.G.Noise and his solo effort ’’Above The Sky’’. However they were all carefully woven into a very tight but well rehearsed record release schedule as Rene also managed to produce three killer single releases for Always Alive Records in the form of ‘’Pure Energy’’ which was a major collab with TrancEye which was then trumped by his incredible follow up with Ian Buff (Redux) called ‘’Stonecold’’ after which Rene went solo again with the absolutely dance floor rocking ‘’Indigo’’. Not one to be sat on his laurels Rene also presided over the simply stunning vocal collab ‘’Don’t Turn Away’’ with Diana Leah which charted incredibly well throughout many European markets on many a global dance charts as well as amassing over 100k Spotify streams.
